-as someone living with an invisible disability, I'd love to receive submissions with disabled protagonist or written by those living with a disability themselves

-novels set in the real world but featuring magic. Think Rivers of London, Thread needle, A Discovery of Witches or The Gifts. Or cosy fantasy like Legends and Lattes, T J Clune or books about magical bookshops

-novels featuring time-travel or parallel universes (think Life After Life, This is How You Lose the Time War, Wrong Place, Wrong Time or The Summer of Impossible Things)

-crime, thrillers and suspense. Either cosy (e.g Over My Dead Body by Maz Evans or Richard Osman-esque), blackly comic (like My Sister, the Serial Killer) or intelligent and inclusive (Gillian Flynn vibes). I also love novels that feature a 'beat the system' narrative

Folks look at this thread 🧵 for a sort of anti #MSWL . Word counts (except for me not repoing young kid lit) aren’t hard and fast rules so don’t count yourself out if your in the neighborhood.

New thought: a lot of the accessible literary books I've read and loved which feature young (straight) women have them going from man to man. While that's a completely normal experience—where are the early 20s women going ???? men??? Please bring those books to me
