Lisa Amstutz @LJAmstutz#amquerying writers, I am now open to queries! Please see my submission guidelines at stormliteraryagency.com/submissionguid… for a QM link. @StormLiterary
I would love some locked room mysteries/ thrillers.
YA/ Adult Horror like Kiersten White’s Hide, Kathryn Foxfield’s books, or Clown in a Cornfield.
Giant sharks/ cryptid books.
Lisa Amstutz @LJAmstutzI'm excited to share that I will be opening to queries again on 10/5! My guidelines are on the @StormLiterary website. #amagenting
Romantic, steamy adult fantasy romances. Deals of convenience, betrayal, political intrigue, dueling families, rivals to lovers to enemies, immortals w/longstanding wars and deep histories. Ballroom dances that end with a dagger to the throat. Rich world building & magic systems
For the first time, I’m opening up to romance in the adult space, particularly contemporary stories that have a lot of layers, have a great backdrop, and an ensemble cast. I’ll be pretty picky here, but here are a few of my faves from the last year 🤍
✨🤍📖I’m open to queries✨🤍📖
I am so so stoked to open my QM again and this time I have new things on my #mswl! I’m especially in the mood for:
MG & YA heists, competitions, mysteries, and thrillers
Adult fantasy romance
Adult contemporary romance
"Seeking adult rom coms with new twists on classic tropes: friends/enemies to lovers, fake dating, stuck together, opposites attract, second chances."
I'm super into Stardew Valley at the moment and would love a book with that gentle fantasy, people going about their lives, kind of vibe. I think YA but I would stretch into adult, and particularly keen to see something from marginalised creators! #mswl
Putting out an #MSWL call for marginalized creators and all of the beautiful intersections therein 🧡
I'd love to see more projects in book club fiction, thrillers, mysteries, suspense, romance, SFF, and horror for middle-grade, YA, & adult readers! Genre blends too!
💕 Romance 🏳️🌈
Including LGBTQ+ romance, YA romance and romantic comedy. I would love an adult Heartstopper or Love Frankie, as well as rom com that is laugh-out-loud funny.
Kortney Price @kortney_priceSo, after a bit of a hiatus, I have a couple of updates.
First update: my query box is back open and I'm so incredibly excited to read what y'all have to share with me! #amquerying (1/2)
Second update: Along with #PB, #MG, and #YA books, I'm also now open to adult #romance titles. My taste in two words? Humor and Heart! For more you can check out my #MSWL here:manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/kort… (2/2)
i’m *dying* for fantasy (both YA and adult!) right now and still don’t have a novel-in-verse on my list, so PLEASE send my way if you have one!!
i’m so excited to dive back in and see your beautiful work! ♥️✨
overall, i will be accepting:
the other changes:
•i will NOT be accepting adult sci-fi during this period (this is NOT permanent and i will likely be open to adult sci-fi again in the future)
•i will actively be looking for adult romance (with caveats, see below!)
James McGowan @jmcgowanbks📣 I opened to queries for adult fiction and nonfiction. Here are some things that I can’t shut up about that have me excited to dig into new stories.

Heather Ray @HeatherRayBooksI wish I could accurately describe my kid's glee when he realized he might be able to use his burping skills to further the space program. "I want to be in an experiment!"
Have a 9-13yo who likes humor, bodily functions, and/or science? Hand them this book. @mary_roach pic.twitter.com/74yZWw0SXj
Would love to see more #NF humorous science books like this in my inbox! #MSWL
If you have funny, currently relevant, science nonfiction #kidlit or #A Adult lit, please message me for query details.
"Seeking generational stories of parenthood and family with non-binary and/or trans characters in the commercial or historical adult fiction genre (ie. heavy with plot!)"
#MSWL: My adult #fiction list will be smaller but think upmarket #BookClub fiction or domestic suspense--something that will keep me up at night. Really enjoyed Angie Kim's Miracle Creek. Has to feel #contemporary, braiding together issues of social import & identity.
