*tbh I'd love to see a character like Stiles from Teen Wolf, bonus points for a father/son relationship like he has with his dad and strong friendship dynamics.

For YA, I'm open to most topics, and I'm especially seeking these:
-post-Roe repercussions
-the dark side of momfluencing (from the kid's POV)
-contemporaries for the Emma Lord/Rachel Lynn Solomon audience from BIPOC voices

I would LOVE to find an irreverent and messy contemporary upper MG or young YA in the vein of "Never Have I Ever." #MSWL

I'm always open to YA or MG in verse! I prefer blank verse, and I'm looking for a cohesive story with a strong point of view. #MSWL

Some specifics I'm looking for in MG:
-kids who aren't good students
-kids reckoning with their own unkindness (like Jennifer Chan is Not Alone)
-boy characters & friendships, including fun books
-books with strong voices and series potential (bring me the next Animorphs & Princess Diaries!)

Bonus: In YA and MG, I would love to see more homeschool rep and foster care/adoption storylines.

For YA and MG, I am open to all genres but horror and high fantasy, though I have been drawn to contemporaries lately. Looking for great pacing, characters I would have loved to be friends with growing up, and storylines that move me or make me think.

For rom-coms, I am looking for sweet, but not predictable. Messy families, messy backgrounds, and messy lives are okay, but I'm not looking for excessive gore or cursing. I love grumpy/sunshine tropes, enemies to lovers, and characters with a redemption arc.

For women's driven/book club fiction, I am looking for stories of hope, inspiration, and emotion. Give me the family drama and the MCs that have allll the baggage to work through. Found family storylines are grabbing my attention lately.
