I loved what THESE VIOLENT DELIGHTS did with using an un-tapped historical period and setting, and adding speculative/magical elements and would love to see more of that! #mswl

I want to see more black teen girls as tenderly and fiercely as Ashley Woodfolk illustrates in both WHEN YOU WERE EVERYTHING and THE BEAUTY THAT REMAINS. #mswl

I am craving queer black teen books filled with reckless joyrides and shenanigans. Literally just kids being kids in their shitty hometowns or neighborhoods trying to figure out how to take a skatepark back, idk.
