B&N released their top books picks of 2022 so far today, and if I had to pick one for my #MSWL, it would be @kalanipickhart's I WILL DIE IN A FOREIGN LAND - Ripped from the headlines, folkloric elements, some experimenting with form - I would jump at the chance for one like this.

I've been mulling this over for a while, but I'm officially adding this concept to my #MSWL: by an author who has lived in one and knows the culture, the story of how gentrification, urbanization, and development are impacting the residents of mobile home parks.

This video just hit over 300M views in 8 weeks - and it deserves it. JUST SO YOU KNOW, K-pop books are a staple on my #MSWL and will STILL be there going into 2022... along with any other heavy-hitting Korean culture themes (K-drama, food, etc.) by knowledgeable authors.
