Continuing to put this out in the universe: my hope is to find a big MG series in the next few months: MG fantasy, adventure, paranormal, scifi, etc...something exciting & brimful of imagination and heart, with characters who are at once brave and vulnerable. #MSWL

In MG & YA: I ❤️ stories that feel a little off-kilter. Something is up in the town/neighborhood & it may be otherworldly...or is it? That kind of thing #mswl

And, yes, I am among those agents looking for paranormal! This can be set in our world & hidden from us non-vampires (so I claim), or it can be in a world where paranormal things are an accepted part of the world. I'm so excited for Renée Ahdieh's THE BEAUTIFUL! #mswl

I loved SADIE too because I love a good mystery, where you read on because you have to figure out not just what is GOING to happen but also what already DID happen. #mswl

Stories told in epistolary or otherwise unique formats: through emails, testimonies, scripts, texts, podcast transcripts, etc. SADIE is a great example that I loved. My client's forthcoming LAST TRUE POETS OF THE SEA also does this. #mswl

I’d also LOVE a cool, cinematic spec novel or contained sci-fi. Something catchy, like “TITANIC but in a newly opened underwater resort” or FAST & FURIOUS meets I don’t know what... Basically, I love when the concept has a *wow* factor. #mswl

Side note: I love big-hearted middle grade, regardless of genre. I love kids who are both brave and vulnerable; stories about finding your place of belonging, and learning whose opinions matter to you--and whose do not. #mswl

I'd also like a MG realistic/contemporary series. Something like Jason Reynold's TRACK series. I'd also be super excited to find brilliant literary standalone in MG. Something like WHEN YOU REACH ME or THE THING ABOUT LUCK. #mswl

I'm also searching for a MG series: something big & fun! It could be set in our world or a secondary world fantasy. I'd love it to be fun & perhaps funny. Ideally it has a high concept, but most important to me is that it has that page-turning quality & irresistible voice. #mswl
