I've been reading THE QUEEN'S GAMBIT and realized how few kids' books there are about chess. Then today I read that on this day in history in 1994 "Peter Leko became the world's youngest-ever grand master in chess." Wouldn't this be a fascinating MG novel! #MSWL #WednesdayWishes

#MSWL I am always looking for less-focused-on characters in adult fantasy. Like, what secrets does the janitor discover in a magical kingdom? What kind of underground ops could this unassuming mastermind run? How about the royal barber? Maintenance? Grocer? Hairdresser?
