In short: my dream book has lovely sentence-level writing that pulls me in to the pages, an interesting plot with a good hook, is accessible but smart, and something with commercial oomph. That’s not asking for too much, right?? #MSWL

3. Romantic Comedies—I’d love to work on “frothy beach reads” that have both humor and heart. I love a strong voice + unique perspective. I need a commercial hook here. #MSWL

2. Women’s Fiction! I’d love to find the next Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick. (This is a WISH list, remember?) I love interesting voices/POVs, dual timelines with a historical feel, rhythmic language, generational sagas. #MSWL
