HUNGRY for YA, MG & adult nonfiction. #mswl pop culture, feminist issues, true crime, pop science, parenting, business from a WOMAN'S POV, relationship/dating, things no one talks about but we SHOULD, fresh & unique & a little weird & dark (DARK TOURIST, LORE, My Favorite Murder)

I have always, ALWAYS wanted a book on this subject. Fiction, nonfiction, I'm not picky. #mswl

Exception: I am starting to seek MG & YA nonfiction graphic novels with specific appeal to the school and library market #MSWL

I love SFF with strong curricular connections that would appeal to teachers/librarians incorporating them into curriculum/pairing with classics

In narrative nonfiction: Books about food, material culture, art, literature, and history always top the list, and I'm particularly interested in projects that explore how many of these topics intersect with race, gender, and politics. #mswl

Time for some #mswl tweets! Here are just some of the things I'm looking for right now.

In general, I rep adult mystery, romance, women's fiction, some SF/F, and upmarket projects, and love to see historical fiction across all genres. I also rep narrative nonfiction.

I really want fiction and nonfiction that focuses on internet culture, like SO YOU'VE BEEN PUBLICLY SHAMED or the movie "Ingrid Goes West." #MSWL

I want fiction and nonfiction on hot contemporary topics. Police brutality, immigration, white supremacists/the alt-right, etc. #MSWL

I also want fresh prescriptive nonfiction with a strong platform in business, self-help, relationships, parenting, etc. Maybe a guidebook in an untapped market that has a large audience. #MSWL

I'm a sucker for history narrative nonfiction that juxtaposes two people from the same time, like THE DEVIL IN THE WHITE CITY or THE PROFESSOR AND THE MADMAN. If your title is THE _____ AND THE _____, I will probably like it. #MSWL

#MSWL I'm on the hunt for wildly entertaining literary fiction, narrative nonfiction, and memoir, esp from underrepresented perspectives. Dying to see non-Eurocentric HF, refreshing romcoms a la #CrazyRichAsians, propulsive toxic female friendship stories--omg the list goes on--

I'd love to get more narrative nonfiction with a strong platform. Maybe something pop science-y, psychology-y, true crime, flashy history, memoir. #MSWL

Otherwise, in nonfiction: culture essays, sports (as long as it comes with a broader non-sport ramification), history, science, all those upmarket NF categories. #MSWL

I'm also looking for more nonfiction--particularly smart, accessible books about feminism, science, history, or travel; and prescriptive or art/gift books with a geeky subject. Author platform preferred! #mswl
