Since I've been getting some queries lately: I'm not currently considering middle-grade manuscripts! I mainly acquire adult horror for Nightfire + some select YA for Tor Teen. MG books are great! I'm just not the right editor for them 🙂

A couple things that I am NOT the right agent for: prescriptive NF, memoir, thrillers about the CIA or the military, scifi and fantasy where all of the characters are very inhuman (think dragons or beetle aliens etc) and people with wings (I'm sorry, I just don't get it)

bog bodies, the age of sail, westerns (centering BIPOC and/or queer characters only please), stories about sports teams (that are maybe haunted??), gothic romances, medieval pilgrimages and any combination thereof!
