I love the idea of #MSWL day but I'm rarely looking for a very specific concept or type of book. I just want the book to be yours and yours alone. To be so specific you can see the whole world in its details. That said, here are a few things that are very top of mind for me:Contemporary horror/thriller focused on the experiences of POCs. We live harrowing lives and ones that see the world from a different angle. Film/tv has done a great job of catching up to representing those experiences. I want more of it in books. #MSWL

Happy #MSWL Day! Any authors curious what Liza's wishing for? Here it is!
Zesty historical adventure/thriller
Literary women’s fiction about motherhood
Elegant, smart spy novel by someone in the intelligence community
Narrative nonfiction about a turning point in history

Oh hey, #MSWL day! I don't take unsolicited subs, but agents, here's what I'm looking for these days...In YA, I would love to find a near-future sci-fi in the vein of Black Mirror or Orphan Black. I also just saw the film Ex Machina, which asks incredibly fascinating questions about AI. #MSWL

Remember Jessy & Cesar, the married hunters in SPN? Something like that but where they’re chasing Latin Urban Legends. #MSWL sheknows.com/entertainment/…Still haven’t seen this in my inbox and am dying for male/male married hunters chasing Latin Urban Legends. #MSWL
