Quick note: I’m pulling back on PBs quite a bit. Last year they easily took over my query inbox (nearly ⅔ of my submissions were PBs!), and I’m hoping to balance out my list this year. I’m still open to PBs but will mostly be looking for author/illustrator projects.

Things I DON’T love/DO NOT want to see: plots that center around communication issues, white saviorism, really intense world building, super scary horror, rhyming for the sake of rhyming, blatant abusive relationships

Things I DO love/DO want to see: fun settings that push the story along (museums, resorts, amusement parks, public transit, etc.), wholesome cinnamon rolls, anti-capitalist themes, non-western mythology, school trips, smashing the patriarchy, found family, cozy fantasies
