Agents—I’m on the hunt for more #MG! I am most drawn to contemporary coming-of-age stories, featuring underrepresented voices, characters who are navigating typical “firsts” (crushes, first periods, etc.), strong friendships, sibling and intergenerational relationships. #MSWL

#MSWL I’m most eager to find twisty, intelligent suspense, upmarket book club fiction, women’s fic that explores friendship and multi-generational ties, light magical realism, and historical fiction from a new perspective or setting. I want more diverse/underrepresented voices!

- Authors of underrepresented communities (POC, LGBTQIA+, body, neuro, disabled)
- Fat girl stories where their weight is not the plot.
- MG and YA horror.

To add to that. Boarding schools, haunted houses, creepy forests, swamps, dark caves, hellscapes, small-town adventures, underrepresented cultures, myths, and folklore based on places, clubs, secret societies, organizations. Places and communities that come alive at night. #MSWL

I'd love to see a MG or YA non-fic graphic novel. Especially something from an author from an underrepresented community. #mswl #illustrator's if you are interested, please reach out!

I’m particularly eager to find voices from historically underrepresented perspectives in adult SF/F and horror, and as a queer man, I am especially drawn to LGBTQIA+ and feminist perspectives for those genres as well. #MSWL
