And in non-fiction, I'm looking for cookbooks, essay collections, and memoir.
@nicole_soojung's memoir wasn't just my favorite memoir last year, it was one of my favorite books period.
@readandbreathe's upcoming book is a great example of "something I wish I worked on."

I'd love to find some more SFF novels that are fun, moving, diverse, and accessible.
My favorite SFF read last year was by @pengshepherd, and I'm smitten with the works of @KatWithSword @DelilahSDawson and @ChuckWendig.
The City of Brass by @SAChakrabooks is a perfect book.

I'm on the lookout for more diverse and inclusive voices in YA across all genres.
My favorite books last year were by authors like @RantingOwl @justinaireland @theames and @AshWrites.
And I'm DESPERATE to find a sci-fi genre blending masterpiece like @erin_bowman's Contagion.

This year, I really want to find more genre-blending literary fiction. It's a big focus.
See books like Station Eleven, The Night Circus, and The Monsters of Templeton as perfect examples.
I've been so lucky with @mikechenwriter @AlisonStine and @boycebabbles. Send me more!

#MSWL Would love to see a great New Adult novel similar to BEFORE SUNRISE. No, I am not looking for stories simply about college level kids having sex in Europe. I want the relationship storytelling.

Hellooo #amwriting friends, I am looking to sign new authors, so here's a #MSWL thread. (And for new followers, please note I'm only seeking books for the kidlit market at present). As a colleague pointed out to me, you can find truth in tragedy, but you can also find truth in joy. I'd love to see YA and MG that find truth in joy. Give me your funny books, effervescent love stories, your joyous and triumphant journeys, adventures, relationships. #MSWL

#askagent Do you have a #CR tropes you particularly hate/love @NaomisLitPixPersonally, I love contemporary romance that is less tropey, and deals with deep character issues. Right now I am actively seeking LGBTQ+ contemporary romance! #MSWL

@BookEndsJessica @bookendslit What are the current trends in middle grade fictional series genre and what would you like to see more of or read personally if you were looking at chapter books for middle grade? #askagentMe personally, I'm always looking for MG contemporary and fantasy genres. I'd really love to find my creepy coraline-esque book as well as a first crush LGBT book (a la the animated short 'In a Heartbeat') #AskAgent #MSWL
