I want to read historical romances set in times and places other than 19th century England. twitter.com/flourishstorie…#MSWL especially those set in Latin American countries like @lydiaallthetime titles.

@TheRippedBodice I support this! One of the reasons I don't read many historical romances is I'm just not interested in 19th century EnglandI like Regency/Victorian/Georgian but I really like turn of the (20th) century America! I'd love to see more post-Gilded Age, pre-Depression romances. #WritingCommunity #mswl

i learned about nüshu, a Chinese script that only women could write and understand, a long time ago but ran across it again in a reading today and now i can't stop thinking about it. where's the SFF treatment of this? the possibilities!atlasobscura.com/articles/nushu…
nüshu magic—ink witches sending spells and messages through hidden script that changes on the page, empires crumbling on the strength of a carefully wrought character, sworn sisters taking vengeance for their own—I want every iteration #MSWL

Writers! I'm looking for story ideas about black fraternities, sororities, unique subcultures, secret societies or elite enclaves that exist within HBCUS. This is pretty niche, so I'm open to any one-of-a-kind ideas within this setting @WritersofColor genelle.levy@gmail.comAnd I would read books about these things. #mswl
