In all ages and genres I am seriously hoping to see more books starring mc's with disabilities. #ownvoices especially encouraged. I want to see stories that show the full range of life and experiences--joy, accomplishments, ambition, sadness, friendship, love. #MSWL

I would love to see a YA (or upper MG) that focuses on the teen activist movement. Whether contemporary or historical, I want to see honest portrayals of how teens organize and mobilize. #MSWL

I’d love more stories about badass women in history - show me women who helped change their world. Who stood up for their convictions with their brains or their brawn #MSWL

In kidlit more broadly (PB-YA) I am on the hunt for more NF that teaches and inspires in a fun accessible way. I lean towards non-fiction that focuses on a specific event or person, that really digs in to give us a clear picture as opposed to broad themes #MSWL

Horror & horror. All types & ages (mg, ya, adult). Could be super scary. Psychological. Thriller. Mystery. Warm Bodies-esque. Odd Thomas-esque. Any way you slice it. #MSWL

Happy #MSWL day! I just watched ALWAYS BE MY MAYBE on Netflix and would love to see a fun foodie #YA #ms like that which delivers big on ethnic flavors amidst a fun #RomCom setting. I’d also love to see more #NF or graphic NF aimed at middle graders!

Would also love an ownvoices sweeping literary family saga that focuses on generational inheritance in any sense (trauma, land, etc.) #MSWL
