I don’t talk much about my own writing or my time in my MFA—mainly because my main takeaway from those days was how I’d much rather help other people tell their stories than tell my own—so here’s some basic info, cause it ties into what I’d love to see in some queries 🧵 #MSWLI got my masters in creative nonfiction, though I entered the program in fiction and spent two years in each genre. My thesis was a collection of research-heavy personal essays titled “Role Play: Essays on Fitting into the World,” which examined the different roles women play /
