There are hints of springtime in the air, so I'd love to see some outdoorsy romance or women's fiction. Give me competing archaeologists, park rangers, adventure guides, farmer's market rivals, anything! #mswl #mswlmadness

Contemporary or historical romance with a hint (or more) of magic. #mswl

In contemporary romance, I am much more likely to fall in love with a book that makes me laugh vs one that makes me cry. I'm not a huge fan of billionaires or motorcycle clubs, so those are probably best sent to other agents who love them.

Now for some specifics! In romance, I am particularly interested in historical romances, and would love to see more diversity in my submissions. Let's see the Regency, Victorian, and Edwardian periods through different eyes.

As a general reminder, I rep adult romance, mystery, women's, and upmarket fiction, and have a deep and abiding love for historical fiction across all genres. I also rep narrative nonfiction, especially on topics like the literary world, food, material culture, & social history.
