Maybe it's just October, but my #MSWL is gothic horror comics.

I want Emily Carroll/ Crimson Peak vibes. I'm talking those very intentionally limited color palettes blended with the psychological horror that keeps me up for days. And candelabras.

And, if you know anything about me, you know queer romance is my jam. I want those first queer crushes, falling in love with your best friend (or your frenemy). I'm looking for queer joy here.

I am ALWAYS in the mood for spooky. If you have spooky stories, send them my way! I love cute mysteries (and dark mysteries) especially!

On the totally other end of the spectrum, I want YA and especially MG contemporary graphic novels! I want heartbreaking friendships and first crushes and discovering yourself and coming into your own.

I want werewolves (same vibe as above). I also want very atmospheric settings. Like manor houses in the country, but it could be contemporary or historical.

I want a super self indulgent vampire romance. Take me back to the early 2000s. Very Queen of the Damned/Underworld movie vibes. Either prose of graphic novel. I want action and mystery and maybe conspiracy too.

Just finished The Girl in the Tower by Katherine Arden. It was beyond wonderful! Where are all of my fairytale/legend retellings? I want Eastern European and East Asian myths and legends sooo bad! #MSWL

A book featuring e-sports would be so cool! I’d also love a MG book about table top games for my fellow D&D or Magic fans! #mswl
