I'm also still looking for the perfect YA Sci-Fi. Maybe it's a space opera, but it's set in the near future on earth. Maybe it's about weapons, maybe it's about cyber warfare. Whatever it is, I'm looking for a distinct VOICE. #mswl

I'm also looking for upmarket YA Fantasy. I'm a sucker for thoughtful and elegant prose, and deep (not wide) worldbuilding that feels effortless despite it's intricacies. Contemp fantasy, second world fantasy, whatever--it's all great, as long as it sweeps me away. #mswl

In YA, I'm craving a high concept contemporary--that means you can pitch in easily b/c it has a HOOK. I love weird jobs, enemies to lovers, unique living situations, and high stakes. #mswl

I'd also love to see more MG Contemporary that showcases friendships, in particular m/f in which a crush isn't part of the plot. #mswl

I would love to see more Middle Grade in general, but I am particularly excited about contemporary fantasy (fantasy set in our world) and stories inspired by non-western cultures. #mswl
