It’s #MSWL time! It’s my first fall season at @JLyonsAgency1 so here’s a thread of some of the weirdly specific stories I’m excited to read from querying authors while donning sweaters and drinking apple cider!Science writers! Bring me your crazy true nonfiction about how the brain works, how AI is evolving, what it will really be like to live in space long term, or how a specific niche science is contributing to our current understanding of neurodiversity. #MSWL

As promised, I'll be doing my top 10 #mswl requests to count down to the reopening of my query box at 1 AM EDT! To note, I'm looking to advocate and support authors from underrepresented communities. Their submissions (especially BIPOC and trans voices) will take priority. pic.twitter.com/M3BrDwYh1kI'm officially open to queries! Please query me if you find that you would like to work with me based on this #mswl or even just my past taste in books. Check out my website for more information. taragilbert.com

My full #mswl can be found at evascalzo.com/mswl, but here are a few highlights: Stories from marginalized voices that focus on the joy. I’m a fan of the HEA. Issues books have their place on the bookshelf, but that’s not my wheelhouse. 3/

Hi #amquerying friends! I have officially fully re-opened to queries. I'll thread a couple of #mswl related tweets, but I'm so excited to see your projects in my inbox, which can be found at this handy link: QueryManager.com/evascalzo 1/Reminder: I represent Adult Romance and SFF and across all genres of Young Adult fiction. I do not represent literary fiction, poetry, screenplays, or nonfiction—not even narrative nonfiction or whatever autofiction is (something I've seen recently in queries). #mswl 2/

I had a dream where we went to this old house where an old lady lived, and she gave off creepy vibes that weren't natural. So after we all were assigned our rooms and everyone was asleep I went searching. There was a part of the house that was off limits. It was familiar to me...My #2 #mswl queer horror stories in MG, YA, and adult. Horror in all shapes and sizes. I'm usually not a slasher or body horror person, though. I like psychological and supernatural, usually. Maybe something where the environment is the antagonist. Also... twitter.com/Literary_Tara/…

My #3 #mswl I cannot stress enough--I need YA and adult RomComs. Super funny, super cute, super smart, and full of emotion like RWRB. I really need a David & Patrick (from Schitt's Creek) romance. #romancelandia where you at?
