I will always, always geek out over all kinds of #archaeology. Maritime archaeology? Yep. Experimental archaeology? Definitely. If you're working on a nonfiction book in any subdiscipline, I will always want to see it. #mswl

I think what I'd really like right now is a cozy British village murder mystery show where Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are elderly widower neighbors who bicker a lot about their gardens, and also solve crimes. And there's a super hot grandson who has to drive them around.

Do you write #HistoricalRomance ? Find out what the @HarlequinBooks Historical editors are looking for! bit.ly/2S96kX0There's a lot of overlap here with my own historical romance #mswl. I have been begging for what feels like forever for a Regency centered on South Asian protags. And a 1950s historical romance? *swoons*

Adventures in Research land. Mexican woman who owned the biggest, baddest most elegant gambling house in Santa Fe, pre Texas. Mirrored walls. Elegantly clad working girls called Evening Angels. Not my story to tell but somebody run with this and make her a heroine. Please?!

#mswl for my nonfiction writing friends:*I'm currently devouring Patrick Radden Keefe's SAY NOTHING & would love to find a book in this vein. History or history / true crime that reads like a thriller.
*PopScience that takes a deep dive into a subject. Think SPYING ON WHALES.
Books that investigate class, race, or identity in America. Deirdre Mask's THE ADDRESS BOOK looks at these constructs from an original and fascinating angle.
Always books on books, art, or material culture. I'm itching to read Kassia St. Clair's THE GOLDEN THREAD. #mswl

Always, always, always looking for diverse historical romance. For example, I think a romance set at Idlewild in the 1930s would be FANTASTIC. #MSWL
