BUT, my #amquerying friends, you must show me a perspective on the War that's fresh and new and like nothing I've seen before to get me interested. If I feel like I can go to my local bookstore and easily pick up 10 books with a premise similar to yours, I'm going to pass. #mswl

So, let's talk about books set during WWII. Are there still a ton of them hitting the bookshelves every month? Yes. Am I a bit burned out on them? Also, yes. Am I completely closed to WWII queries? Of course not! #mswl

Re-upping my #mswl for a book set in the 1930s. Such an important decade, but one that often gets lost with so much focus on books set in the '20s and during WWII.
