I won't say just because this is my professional Twitter but I will say I was younger than expected and my German mother had already been telling me about periods for years. Still didn't recognize mine when it happened or even fully understand what having a period meant. twitter.com/1mercysarah/st…For any writers out there writing about menstruation (#mswl) remember that knowing=/=understanding. And also kids sometimes think they know, but they don't.

College YA is another area that has been brought up in my informal polling, @ReadWriteandMe also mentioned it. I wish that publishers were more open to it, but if you send me a great one, we may make it happen saleswise. My next #MSWL: College YA.Seconded! As someone who grew up with the same kids from kindergarten to 12th, college was the first time I was with new people, and allowed to reinvent myself (as it were) but it was also the first time I was out on my own. There are alot of rich YA themes in this setting. #MSWL

#MSWL YA book like TRULY DEVIOUS. I love true crime and I think there are alot of teens who do too so I would love to see more YAs that involve teens obsessed with solving mysteries.Adding on: I'd love to see this with neurodiveristy angles, or even neurological angles. Like someone with Prosopagnosia for neurological or someone with autism for neurodiversity. Both present a different way of dealing with the world, and how would they solve the puzzle? #MSWL

So I’ve been thinking about books I’ve loved in the last few years & realized many involve scary/spooky elements like ghosts or dark spirits and tackle issues like the “monstrousness” of female power or the darkness of grief & inherited pain, and omg I like horror?? #mswlI could read some of these. #mswl

I want a book hangover. I want to read late into the night. I want to desperately message people telling people how obsessed I am. I want to be the OG fangirl with my OTP homemade shirt (HOLLER to my #TeamJacob peeps!) THIS IS THE REQUEST OF MY HEART!!!!!! #MSWL

In the spirit of @jamerrson doing an MSWL, I'm going to chime with one, too!
I am really into the song BURY A FRIEND and would love a YA that has that atmospheric, psychological feeling in contemporary #MSWL
