Natascha Morris @SoCalledYALifeSo it's 2020 and I need more books so #MSWL pic.twitter.com/ZjqixMORcp
These are some of my top needs (from the graphic):
-MG and YA graphic novels
-Mermaids. *I know what I want so I will know when I see it*
-Elegant Horror. (what does this mean, Natascha? Think THE GRACE YEAR, THE HAZELWOOD, WILDER GIRLS) #MSWL
CBS Sunday Morning 🌞 @CBSSundayAt the Los Angeles County Fair, @conorknighton introduces us to the world of competitive tablescaping - a contest that is equal parts creativity and cutlery, as contestants try to design artful, decorative table settings in a variety of categories cbsn.ws/2sF4qVC pic.twitter.com/2ZXEt1LTI5
#MSWL for MG
Courtesy of the BookEnds' Slack and @BookEndsJessica putting it in my end, I now need a #MSWL for a Gay MG Parent Trap style book.
And also kid entrepreneurs. Possibly underground sparkly slime business. Or a homecoming mum shop.
Amanda Isabel Ramirez (ง'̀-'́)ง @AmandaIsA_RamI am just a girl, standing in front of the internet, begging for a young #YA / upper #MG about a #Latinx girl who has to choose between a quinceañera and a sweet sixteen because Americanization™️ and all the cultural / generational drama that ensues #MSWL
#MSWL yes please
Last one before i run is inspired by my new RBG socks "Dawn of Justice". I remember being a student mediator. I would love to see a MG about a kid who doles out the justice of the streets without using violence, and instead their words and their mind. #MSWL
So it would have to be paired with a plot A that is hella cool but I would love to see a book that deals with parent that is absentee, or infrequent in a kid's life. That does a number on people (personal experience) and I think having a book showcase that is important. #MSWL
