And as always, I'm most eager for underrepresented voices across all categories I represent. By underrepresented voices, I personally mean writers from marginalized communities that are not well represented in publishing, including multiply marginalized writers. #MSWL

But not every book needs a romantic interest of any kind. Romance isn't something everyone has/wants. I love friendship stories. I love found family stories. Have a book that understands that friendship is as fraught and rewarding as any other relationship? Please query me. #MSWL

Speaking of romance, we need more romance that doesn't glorify persistence. Give me heroes who take no for an answer. Give me active affirmative consent. My favorite tropes are enemies-to-lovers and what I like to think of as "whoops I'm in love with my BFF." #MSWL

I badly want your contemporary adult romance with heroes and/or heroines who are from marginalized communities. I know traditional romance publishing has not always been welcoming, and I respect authors who prefer to self-publish, but if you want to try, I want to try. #MSWL
