- I love historical fiction and I love learning about something new! Bonus points if it’s pre 1800s, not white, and has gay stuff

- I love love love classic fantasy, but I’m very easily bored by a basic sword and sorcery storylines. I want something strange and fairy tale-like, and I want to know the characters deeply.

- If I go for sci-fi, I’m more into specific vs expansive. Think The Echo Wife by Sarah Gailey, or Little Eyes by Samanta Schweblin.

- i really want some funny picture books with off-beat characters in the center! Think Olivia, Elephant and Piggy, Gaston, Pete The Cat, etc! Also, I’m big on slightly more adventurous art styles!

- Probably should have been my top one, but manga!! I love manga and read a lot of it! I know the genres and i love trying to break them. I’m not a big shounen traditionalist, i’m more into the “odder” series

- I adore horror, both supernatural and firmly stuck in reality. Especially if it’s a combo of horror and romance!

- I have an unironic love of disney channel original movies, and i love stories that are bravely cheesy

- Anything, and I mean anything, that could use the words “toxic queer romance” in its summary. The more depraved, the better. Give me the ugly emotions
