Middle Grade: Humor--if you can truly make me laugh, I'll sign you up. Literary: I've never had a Newbery-winning client and I want one. Adventure stories that aren't fantasy, grounded fantasy, sci-fi. #ownvoices for sure. Artists, MG graphic novels! #MSWL

For picture book clients, I'm looking for professional artists and illustrators who can write their own texts. Texts should run 500 words or so. Character-driven stories, stories about identity, animals, emotions. Avoid lists, holidays, rhyme. #MSWL

#MSWL. Just finished MAID and would love to find some narrative nonfiction that celebrates underrepresented voices, especially women, triumphing over tremendous odds be they physical, financial and/or mental.
