Y’all, I am opening to queries on Sunday! THIS Sunday!! I’ll be posting a full MSWL then, but I’m here for a MC who has the best of intentions but sometimes “falls” into these situations… 😅😂🫠

One thing I'd like to note after @TheTobiasAgency #MSWL day is that for me it ALWAYS comes down to the quality of the writing--there's no substitute for an irresistible narrative voice. Of course there are genres I'm more comfortable with, but make sure the voice sparkles!

Yes, I’m binging Desperate Housewives again, and yes, I need anything and everything that feels like a 2023 version of the neighborhood ladies. Give me a bunch of millennials in an apartment complex with a whole mess of drama and someone with the shine of Gabrielle Solis #MSWL

The @TheTobiasAgency #mswl day is over, but I wanted to clarify: When I say I want anything under the SFF umbrella, most people know I mean fantasy and sci-fi but they don't realize I also want things that are other genres (mystery esp) with a speculative twist!

4) 2022 was a transition year for me (moving, roles, mentality, etc.), and I appreciate everyone who submitted their project to me! I know how frustrating it is to wait for a response, and my goal is to have a quicker turnaround time in 2023.

It’s a blah day in Brooklyn, and my extra shot of expresso just kicked, so I figured I’d hop on with some updates:

This is vague, I know, but since it's #mswl day at @TheTobiasAgency, I would love to find a SFF/speculative in adult or ya that is weird but captivating. A little bit of "I have no idea what's going on but I am into it."

As far as what I want in adult: Good hooks, gripping plots, strong characters. I either want light, funny & swoony for the romcom/romance, or layered, smart and edge-of-seat for the thrillers. Sticking with commercial, contemporary for adult for now. No SFF. #mswl #querytip
