So I’ve been thinking about books I’ve loved in the last few years & realized many involve scary/spooky elements like ghosts or dark spirits and tackle issues like the “monstrousness” of female power or the darkness of grief & inherited pain, and omg I like horror?? #mswl

Just had a meeting that made me realize I want to take on a sunny, escapist book...with a body count. 😈 Think murder on an island or a kidnapping in Tuscany. Fun...until it’s not. #mswl

2. In #YA #SFF I'd like to see ensemble pieces with diverse representation. #LGBTQ & #POC in particular. Want to see comps like FOUR DEAD QUEENS/EMBER IN THE ASHES/RED QUEEN /Lunar Chronicles #MSWL
