#MSWL for trans voices in speculative #A or #YA that comps @ryka_aoki's The Light from Uncommon Stars. I'm blown away not just by the voice, but by the originality of the story, the heart, the narrative scope. It's breathtaking. We need more trans joy in SFF. Send them my way.

Please someone send me BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE meets JANE THE VIRGIN.
Imagine the fun with that soap opera narration 😬 #MSWL #amagenting❤️
P.S. When I worked at Disneyland, I met Jaime Camil (Rogelio, Jane’s dad). 😅 He was also my first love in telenovelas (La Fea Mas Bella)🙃

I really want to see more #ownvoices refugee submissions for both MG and YA. North Korea especially, but also Colombia, the Middle East, and beyond. #mswl 🙏

While I am on the lookout for these things always, and you are certainly welcome to query me, I am *not* a full fledged agent and so will be working collaboratively with someone else from my agency, just for transparency's sake.

Non-fiction wise, I love an in-depth examination of an issue that we're currently dealing with (EMPIRE OF PAIN is a perfect example). A fresh take on the climate crisis that I wish I had found myself is WARMTH.

Anything that deals with, examines, or plays with gender — I want to see it. YA, NA, and A are all welcome. I want to read stories from disabled writers, from queer writers, from Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Asian writers.

A #MSWL mini thread since I'm just dipping a toe into the querying world. 🧵I love all fiction, with a soft spot for magical realism (think 100 YEARS, of course!). Lit fic, spec fic, and sci-fi are also high on my list. Fantasy like BLACK LEOPARD. Psych fiction that slowly unravels, like RED PILL. And not always, but sometimes, a great love story.

thinking of a romcom where dev patel's a snobby city journalist, and lana condor's a romance novellist who also writes thrillers under a different pen name. he puts the romance novel on his "worst of" list and the thriller under "best", not knowing they're by the same person– pic.twitter.com/Yq99CI5fTII want this romcom so much. #mswl

I’m still angry about this. There are only nine illustrations in this book and one of them is of these goblins. There must have been so many eyes on this image and it’s shocking no one scrutinised it. twitter.com/langtonbecca/s…I want to counteract this - I would LOVE to find a great contemporary Jewish story for MG or YA. Anything that isn't historical! I want Jewish rom-com or a Jewish fantasy and just Jewish joy in whatever forms #MSWL
