I am so hungry for nonfiction!! I'm still looking for a travel book that doesn't read like an anthropological study, but rather something that captures the lives and cultures of others in all its beauty. Something that gives us a glimpse without the Western lens. #mswl

When it comes to literary, I actively search for #ownvoices works, but especially those from the POC, immigrant, and LGBTQ+ communities. I'm not really looking for Americana stories right now. Nothing wrong with being the next John Steinbeck, it just wouldn't be for me. #mswl
