Happy #MSWL Day!
I love it when a story has me googling at 1am because I cannot believe it is real
I want your strange corners of history, your niche obsessions, & your flawed but lovable characters who feel painfully human. I want to learn something & be completely captivated along the way

I looked at this list again to see if there was anything I wanted to add to it or my #MSWL (there was! I added one new item to the "cravings" page and linked to that page and the "likes" page on my general MSWL)...and what I wouldn't do for stories that hit one or more of these things 馃檹馃檹馃檹

As a history and foreign language teacher, I鈥檓 drawn to prehistoric, ancient, medieval, and modern history, especially the cultural side. I focus on art, traditions, beliefs, music, and other expressions that show how societies interact, evolve, and contribute to one another. #MSWL

Happy #MSWL , #writingcommunity ! Sharing what I look for, recent reads, and my favorite authors.
Don't see your book in my #MSWL ? No worries! I want to see your work if it has a compelling voice, pacing, and plot.

#MSWL I love that paranormal romance is making a comeback, and am interested in seeing speculative romance of all stripes. I'm open to both cozy OR the darker end of the spectrum, as long as the stakes are high and immediate.
Some faves: Sangu Mandanna, Ashley Poston, Ali Hazelwood, Lana Harper

Historical fiction is also always a #MSWL . I'd love to see stories in some new time periods (esp 1930s, 1950s) and ones that are drawing parallels and making history relevant to our current world. Always love to see dual timelines!
If Bonnie Garmus, Kristin Hannah, or Kate Morton are comps, hmu!
