ok last non-fiction #mswl for now: increasingly i am made aware of how deeply capitalism influences and infiltrates our lives, in big and small ways. i would love to keep exploring that and hearing about other ways we could imagine our lives, please!

-biographies of women from history, whether ones who were ignored/forgotten or maybe a revised look at a known figure!!! esp written by fellow women!

truth is, i'm a nerd on a futile quest to learn everything, ever, but some topics/areas i often gravitate towards:
-pop culture & what it says about us/the times we're living in

-deep dives into cultural history of <topic/thing>

i was surprised by how much i enjoyed bridgerton s2 because i'm not really into historical fiction so: if it got similar vibes to kathony, both as a couple but also individually, and it's not necessarily historical*?? #mswl

*i might be flexible w like the 20th century lol

i don't know what's going on here but i'm drawn to novels ft a house/setting that maybe possibly wants to kill you/its inhabitants or maybe one that just keeps messing with them. if this is exploring some forgotten history/wrongs/etc?? *chef's kiss* #mswl

i've been thinking about it for 2 months so it's only fitting to start here: the scene in wakanda forever where namor says to [redacted] 'let's burn the world together'? i want the version where [redacted] says 'bet' and all the messy *nuanced* consequences that follow!! #mswl
