We typically take a break from the slush late December, so if you're #amquerying, pop over to our subs page and check out our #MSWL to see if we'd be a good match: tinyfoxpress.com/submissions/

is it weird if I say I want to read a speculative novel, similar to the evolution of the Goncharov meme, where a collective unreality is collaborated on by a wide and disparate community, until eventually the lines between what's true and what isn't are thoroughly blurred #mswl

Feels a bit like tweeting into the void, but before this bird app fully tanks I would really love it if someone sent me a mystery/suspense/thriller with some Mare of Easttown vibes. #MSWL

My left arm for historical fiction about Abigail Adams and this letter she wrote to John: "I desire you would remember the ladies... Do not put such unlimited power into the hands of the husbands. Remember, all men would be tyrants if they could." #MSWL

Been having the best time with my youngest, who introduced me to Fruits Basket over break. Just finished the third season, and if anyone can send me an MS that comps to that or makes me feel the same way Tohru, Kyo, Yuki, Momiji, Haru, Rin & the zodiac members do, I'm in... #MSWL

"I'd really love to get more YA horror in my inbox. Smart horror. I don't want gore, I want a story that creeps me out, and asks questions I don't want answers to."

"Send me select horror—I'm more interested in psychological elements, but I don't mind a bit of gore. Anything disturbing or unnerving is up my alley. Novels and collections welcome!"

(Oh, I also love romance!! But it's a crowded market and it needs to have a big hook/ fresh perspective for me to fall in love!)

^^ Phew that’s a lot! Evergreen reminder that I’m pretty genre agnostic, so if you think we would be a fit, go ahead and try me!

Other recent favorites in no particular order: THE ISLAND OF MISSING TREES, THE WEIGHT OF BLOOD, THE NO-SHOW, MORE THAN YOU’LL EVER KNOW, ALL MY RAGE, BABEL, ONE TRUE LOVES, FABLE, BELLADONNA, THE DAUGHTER OF DOCTOR MOREAU, CULT CLASSIC, THE LAST HOUSEWIFE, BLACK CAKE

This also goes for sci-fI! I’m not the best fit for hard sci-fi, but anything that feels “five seconds in the future” (ex. “Black Mirror”) is right up my alley. I couldn’t get enough of THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD MOTHERS and “Severance,” and would love to find something similar!

Grounded genre fiction! I’m always craving books like ADDIE LA RUE or SERPENT & DOVE (two of my all-time faves!) for my list -- something with a lush setting, a big concept, and plenty of romance.
