…ancient civilizations/locations in the vein of Ancient Apocalypse.

Memoirs must read like fiction & are not life stories/diaries; it’s an event that changed your life drastically & was greatly affected by external circumstances (brings universality into your personal struggle)

Spiritual (*not* religious) explorations of past lives, reincarnations, soul connections, etc. Tarot, palm readings, astrology.
Other: true crime, wine/wineries, wine & food pairings (especially with travel), empaths, history of witches & witchcraft…

The “brotherhood” mentality of law enforcement and how the criminal justice system is anything but just. How it negatively impacts and further traumatizes victims of any kind of abuse, giving permission to the “bad ones” to be bad.

NONFICTION I’d love to see:

I’m hugely drawn to natural/unassisted childbirth, pregnancy, & motherhood. Informative & heartwarming. Ina May Gaskin is my hero! Highlighting how Big Pharma has medicalized birth (in the vein of The Business of Being Born).

Across the board, I’d love to see stories that normalize blended, single-parent, adoptive, racially and/or culturally diverse, and same-sex families and relationships.

Speculative Fiction: like our world, but one or two big differences. Less of a pull for me, but if you have something unputdownable with a massive hook, send it my way!

Romance: although this is not my main jam, I do love romance with time travel, soulmates, past lives, reincarnation, second-chances, etc. Light spice. Romcoms are also great!

I am *not* looking for epic fantasies, kingdoms/kings/queens/princes/princesses, etc. I would like fantasy/magical realism in the way of time travel, witches, past lives, reincarnations, etc.

Historical fiction: I prefer pre-20th century.

My main jam is thrillers, so I’d love to see more in this area. This includes horror (supernatural horror, not slasher horror), mystery, suspense, domestic thriller, psychological, etc. Fast-paced, high tension, high stakes, please! Ghosts & haunted houses are a huge draw for me.

FICTION: I’m only looking for Adult and YA atm. I’ve been flooded with MG this fall and am currently not looking to expand my MG client list, but check back in the future. My agency coworkers Jes Trudel and Stacey Kondla are wonderful MG agents!
