Seconded! As someone who grew up with the same kids from kindergarten to 12th, college was the first time I was with new people, and allowed to reinvent myself (as it were) but it was also the first time I was out on my own. There are alot of rich YA themes in this setting. #MSWL

I love historical fiction, but I am picky. Because I want to see a historical voice. I love Ruta Sepetys for this reason. Give me histories I have never seen, give me view points never known. Immerse me in the setting, and culture. #MSWL #YA #MG

What I am looking for here is fantasy that is high concept, but beautifully written. All these authors I read in 1 sitting, ignoring everything. I want a fantasy where I ignore the world. Make it stand out and feel like I have never seen these elements before. #MSWL #YA #MG

Speaking of Sabaa, I want cinematic fantasy. What do I mean by that? High concept, sweeping, almost grand like a movie in your head. Sabaa does this wonderfully, but so does Marie Rutkoski, Sarah J. Maas, Tahereh Mafi, Laini Taylor. #MSWL #YA #MG

I also want a beautifully written, yet character driven friendship book. I'm fascinated by the dynamics of friendships. Great examples of the writing I want here are Kit Frick, Courtney Summers, Sabaa Tahir. These authors swept me away. #MSWL #YA

So I mentioned wanting a fluffly YA rom-com. It is like the #1 thing I want right now. I am craving it like I crave pickles or guac. Think HOT DOG GIRL, or THE PRINCESS DIAIRIES, or ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS. Just fun, squee emotions, and escapism. #MSWL
