Speaking of conferences, why has no one written a novel about someone getting murdered at a mystery writers' convention where EVERYone thinks they're the person who can figure out whodunit? #mswl

He isn't doing anything illegal, but is it APPROPRIATE? HELL NO. Could you imagine this, but in a small town, where a behavior like rubbing the girl's shoulders or something else could be excused. Or had been so internalized by the town? 3/

I see your con artist YA heroine and raise you this legendary teenage girl who infiltrated Queen Charlotte's court, escaped execution for theft, escaped indentured servitude, successfully posed as a German princess despite NOT SPEAKING GERMAN, and somehow lived happily ever after pic.twitter.com/5BrhYrhDNw#MSWL on this

(Last tweet didn't make sense cause lack of food) BUT What I meant to say was we don't live removed from our actions. We are interconnected. So what does that mean for the next generation? How do they grapple with their history? How do they move society forward?History is doomed to repeat itself if we don't learn from our actions. And even when we do, as a whole, how do we as a society correct the course? I'm not sure what a YA would look like that deals with these issues and themes, but I'd love to see it. #MSWL
