Carolina Ortiz @pushthepanoramaThis is probably the fastest I've ever #MSWL anything. But YAAAAAS, SEND ME LATINX VAMPIRES🙏🏼 twitter.com/IsabelWriter09…
In general though, any POC authors take on vampires, werewolves, sirens, witches, and any manner of myth/supernatural is always #MSWL for me
Isabel Ibañez @IsabelWriter09Guys. An idea just hit me.
Starring Latinx vampires. Family obligations. Honor. Respect and upholding tradition before anything else.
and The Matriarch.
Who everyone calls Abuela.
This is probably the fastest I've ever #MSWL anything. But YAAAAAS, SEND ME LATINX VAMPIRES🙏🏼
Alyssa!!! Cole @AlyssaColeLitI hope that the biggest takeaway from yesterday in Romancelandia is that romance readers are clearly well-versed in the diversity of the Regency, are excited to see more of it, and trad pubs should be acquiring diverse historicals written by POC/marginalized authors.
YES!!! And on that thought, I definitely want to see more diverse Regency, Gregorian, and Victorian YA in my inbox. I took three different Jane Austen classes in college--I have a mighty need #mswl
Between Pride and Copa América, I've got two new #mswl. The first: send me your MG/YA own voices projects starring genderqueer, non-binary, and trans protags. I'm especially trying to get more transmasc representation out there
Rosie Brown @rosiesramblesTired: Hades/Persephone retellings where he kidnaps her and is all sorts of creepy
WIRED: Hades/Persephone retellings where Persephone broke into the underworld and won't leave, Hades is begging her to go bc she's eaten all his snacks and Cerberus likes her more than him
Big mood for #mswl
