I AM BROWN @ashokkbanker
@pushthepanorama So encouraging, thanks for posting! Quick question: You've listed a lot of details on what you seek for MG & YA novels, but none for Graphic Novels. Do all those points apply to GNs too or...?Asking because I'm close to signing with an agent and sending out my debut MG GN!ππ
Hi Ashok! My middle grade and young adult details #mswl apply to prose, verse, and graphic novels so it definitely encompasses my GN tastes π
Congrats on your querying journey! It sounds like 2022 is heading towards a bright spot!

I hope that the biggest takeaway from yesterday in Romancelandia is that romance readers are clearly well-versed in the diversity of the Regency, are excited to see more of it, and trad pubs should be acquiring diverse historicals written by POC/marginalized authors.YES!!! And on that thought, I definitely want to see more diverse Regency, Gregorian, and Victorian YA in my inbox. I took three different Jane Austen classes in college--I have a mighty need #mswl

Between Pride and Copa AmΓ©rica, I've got two new #mswl. The first: send me your MG/YA own voices projects starring genderqueer, non-binary, and trans protags. I'm especially trying to get more transmasc representation out there
