I thought it was a good, random day to update what I'm looking for when I open back up for queries December 1 #MSWL.Books that upset Western "ideals" of literature. I would like to be pushed out of my reading comfort zone. Anything related to the eeriness and hunger, including the very visceral sense of bodies and place that Han Kang creates in her books is of interest to me. #MSWL

My inbox is mostly fantasy right now, which is exciting! But this is your reminder that I'm still seeking romance, especially queer romance, romcoms, contemporary romance, and erotic romance💕#MSWL

"they" will not become a part of general usage, not for political reasons but because there would be no pronoun to distinguish between a singular subject ("they") & a plural subject ("they"). language seeks to communicate w/ clarity, not to obfuscate; that is its purpose. twitter.com/JoyceCarolOate…Hi! I’m looking for more picture books, novels, and graphic novels that feature non-binary characters, people who use they/them pronouns, etc.! Shouldn’t be a problem, since kids easily get the fact that language is mutable ❤️ #MSWL
