#MSLW I've seen queries before w/ worlds where water is scarce. Would love to see something like this in the YA or even MG space when I reopen to queries. You can always put something like "#MSWL For YA drought-world book" or whatever the MSWL is in the referral space.

Gender-flipped contemporary Cinderella retelling, except I want “Cin” to be damaged, the bad boy, who needs rescuing in true enemies-to-lovers fashion by his “princess.” Make him sympathetic & redeemable at first. Make us only really like him as the plot develops. #MSWL

Ok I want an (off world) book in which a civilized technological (maybe emerging technological) society uncovers the remnants of a lost world, a different species, who once occupied their world, even achieved greater than them before their ruin. Literary or upmarket SFF?? #MSWL

#MSWL I would so love a women’s fiction or rom-com with a heroine like this.

Bonus #MSWL. I adore adventurous space opera of all kinds. (Ex Beth Revis Across the Universe or Passengers) but really want a focus on adventure and discovering new worlds.

This GIANT SPACE rocket falling to 🌏 is making me think about people living on a far-future grimdark earth, high tech, but space junk is always falling, destroying, changing lives & fortunes, & of course there're the elite who live up above & make the mess down below. #MSWL

TBH, I was just thinking about A DOG's PURPOSE, and then I was all like, "oh yeah but make it YA, and smoochie, and like darkly romantic, and not about dogs, but people, and maybe the world has magic already ..." So, that's my brain.

#MSWL part two. Would also really like to be immersed in each of the different lives, not just looking back on them. I want to be there across time.

#MSWL I think it'd be really cool to get a YA fantasy (probs with a heavy romance subplot) with reincarnation as the crux upon which the pendulum swings. Doesn't have to be set on a realistic earth. Could be a fantasy world to make the world building deeper. Either way.

#MSWL teenage angst, longing, unrequited love, confusion, completely just *missing* each other, converging class expectations maybe?, tension you could cut with knife, longing without getting, so many almost moments

#MSWL Someone write me a book called CARRION, just as dark & dangerous as it sounds, but w/expansive, lush world building. Epic fantasy would be cool here, an alternate, dangerous world where nothing is ever safe & little is sacred, except among a small few who carry the torch.

Really happy to see my MIDDLE GRADE HORROR list growing with @saskwriter and @Lora013's debuts. I'm always looking for horror across the board from MG to YA to Adult, though not of the gross-out variety, but do give me eerie, tension-filled, scary with heart! #MSWL #MG #horror

Would love a YA I Dream of Genie meets Weird Science #MSWL. Think two high school boys end up with magic lantern, hijinks ensue. Awkward male coming of age but more heartfelt emotions, not sexed up fantasy. But super fun and funny.
