#MSWL Still looking for an MG Romance Writer exploring 1st love & crushes like Natalie Blitt Carols & Crushes for MIDDLE GRADE to YA girls, 12-15yos. Yes I want something that straddles that weird line. Want them to read like Hallmark movies for kids and could go series.

#MSWL Would love a Love Inspired or category length romantic suspense novel with an "undercover" hook. Could be heroine is under cover or the hero, but I'd love to read that. Would like an unusual setting too. Maybe an island near Portland or Seattle, or Caribbean, cruise ship?

#MSWL when I reopen in January, one thing (not the only thing) I'll be looking for is a lot of genre stuff that is very either funny or satirical or slightly weird, or quirky. Think genre+this. Scifi, fantasy, romance, speculative, thriller, action/adventure, horror--kid & adult.

TBH, I was just thinking about A DOG's PURPOSE, and then I was all like, "oh yeah but make it YA, and smoochie, and like darkly romantic, and not about dogs, but people, and maybe the world has magic already ..." So, that's my brain.

#MSWL I think it'd be really cool to get a YA fantasy (probs with a heavy romance subplot) with reincarnation as the crux upon which the pendulum swings. Doesn't have to be set on a realistic earth. Could be a fantasy world to make the world building deeper. Either way.

Would love a YA where a Korean teenager sees her life as a mirror to her favorite Korean soap opera. Grew up watching these with my best friend, and think it could be unique set up. High humor, some romance, a whole lotta' drama, & strong plot. #MSWL

I’d love a romance where the hero is this really dynamic physical person, strong, capable, a true man’s man, but juxtaposed by this very deeply feeling, beautiful gentle sensuous authentic person inside. A man man’s who leads with his heart. #MSWL

Would it be impossible to write a book about a teen who somehow exists in two different time periods at the same time? Like her lives actually overlap in some way. She thinks it’s only her but a guy in town experiences the same and they realize it & their past connection #R #MSWL

#AntiMSWL & #MSWL I prefer contemporary over historical romance unless the historical has some REALLY nifty hook, though I dig fantasy in a feudal setting. I don’t rep picture books and rarely chapter books, but I’m all about middle grade (with upper MG my sweet spot!)
