Agents, I'd love to see more horror submissions from marginalized voices, especially ones based around their local/cultural folkfore and/or social issues. #mswlCan I double #MSWL this and I'll send it to Dina?!!

@Itsdiyahshalon self healing? I SAW RUMPELSTILTSKINI'm almost afraid to ask. Somehow this is terrifying which makes me #MSWL a horror with him as Villain. Nothing gross though. I don't do gross out. Just smart and terrifying.

The monster isnβt under your bed or in the woods, itβs you. The monster has always been you.#MSWL adult horror. This premise. Unreliable narrator. Please. Thank you.

#MSWL when I reopen in January, one thing (not the only thing) I'll be looking for is a lot of genre stuff that is very either funny or satirical or slightly weird, or quirky. Think genre+this. Scifi, fantasy, romance, speculative, thriller, action/adventure, horror--kid & adult.

Really happy to see my MIDDLE GRADE HORROR list growing with @saskwriter and @Lora013's debuts. I'm always looking for horror across the board from MG to YA to Adult, though not of the gross-out variety, but do give me eerie, tension-filled, scary with heart! #MSWL #MG #horror

Itβs a weird goal, but I really want to be known as the middle grade horror queen literary agent extraordinaire (flashy title, ha!). I love MG horror. I love how it stretches kids. How it can be used as a vehicle for talking about things like anxiety, grief & other big emotions. So send me your MG horror #MSWL when I reopen. Iβm picky as all get-out, so the road is narrow. And obviously if I sign several authors in the same genre, they have to have different flavors to set them apart. But I want to see it.

Can I have a horror novel about a young girl who carries around a doll (like a modern day American girl doll type doll - not old school creepy). And wherever she goes, bad things happenβbut is it the girl or the doll? #MSWL SCARE ME. MAKE ME QUESTION THINGS.

Literary Agent
Horror & horror. All types & ages (mg, ya, adult). Could be super scary. Psychological. Thriller. Mystery. Warm Bodies-esque. Odd Thomas-esque. Any way you slice it. #MSWL

This is an r/relationships post from the SA peanut gallery thread because the original was deleted. You will not regret reading this one although you might scream. ππππ pic.twitter.com/nIt12atnqI

#MSWL βI donβt think people understand how much kids like horror right now.β Quote from my 13yo son. So send me #YA horror pls. #MG horror is going strong now (head nods at @saskwriter). YA needs to make a big shelfβthese kids are growing up. I *think* it could be the next trend.

#MSWL Thinking about the dichotomy of things & I want a near-future DYSTOPIAN where nothing is cleaned up & pretty. Want the horror (w/out major gore) of floods, earthquakes, death etc w/the thread of hope. Both pain & beauty. Give it to me...would love this with a literary feel.
