A meeting today made me think: I’d LOVE to see a huge, sweeping pre-Columbian epic fantasy novel in my inbox. Before the Europeans landed and ruined everything, there were vibrant, sophisticated, and competitive empires in the Americas. That’s as epic fantasy as anything. #MSWL

Here's the thing: I LOVE MUSIC. There are works in almost every genre that make me FEEL. Goosebumps. Crying. "Inspire me to create" levels of feels.
So what do editors want? This one wants manuscripts to move me as much as my favorite songs.

So enjoyed Ruth Ware’s The Death of Mrs. Westaway. I loved the Gothic atmosphere and how the author adeptly worked the tarot card element into the story to make her heroine more memorable. I would love to see some Gothic fiction as submissions. #MSWL.
