With SF, I'm still looking for my Black Mirror comp leaning towards creepy, literary speculative that plays more on technology than it does hard SF. For reference, my fav BM episodes: San Junipero, Entire History of You, Nosedive, Hang the DJ, and Black Museum. #mswl

When it comes to literary, I actively search for #ownvoices works, but especially those from the POC, immigrant, and LGBTQ+ communities. I'm not really looking for Americana stories right now. Nothing wrong with being the next John Steinbeck, it just wouldn't be for me. #mswl

I am hungry for an adult multicultural literary novel. I am looking for something that not only addresses the cultural and generational divide, but also our very real flaws as human beings. Must be own-voices. #mswl

For non-fiction, my #MSWL is pretty simple: I'd love to see woke AF literary journalism pieces in my inbox. Something relevant with a strong, engaging voice.
