It’s a weird goal, but I really want to be known as the middle grade horror queen literary agent extraordinaire (flashy title, ha!). I love MG horror. I love how it stretches kids. How it can be used as a vehicle for talking about things like anxiety, grief & other big emotions. So send me your MG horror #MSWL when I reopen. I’m picky as all get-out, so the road is narrow. And obviously if I sign several authors in the same genre, they have to have different flavors to set them apart. But I want to see it.

My kids built a fort and named it Fort Skittles 🤣 pic.twitter.com/TULsZy7hnoOh that’s sooooo cool!!! I call #MSWL. Someone give me an awesome middle grade novel about a group of normal everyday neighborhood kids who go into a forest everyday after school and live out magical lives. Like a happy Bridge to Terabithia.

My Hollywood peeps...a question for you? Why can’t we get some Black kids doing light, fun stuff? Going on adventures? Like, what’s it take? Societal ills need to be addressed. Racism gotta get got. There are still 19 notable slaves yet to get a biopic. I get it.This is one of my eternal #MSWL’s. I’d really love some middle grade here. Think Goonies. Think space adventure. Think Indiana Jones. Think Flipped. Think Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys. Maybe a contemporary about a boy gymnast. Something! Anything light & fun with diverse characters.

#MSWL “I don’t think people understand how much kids like horror right now.” Quote from my 13yo son. So send me #YA horror pls. #MG horror is going strong now (head nods at @saskwriter). YA needs to make a big shelf—these kids are growing up. I *think* it could be the next trend.
