Queer YA genre fiction of any kind. Fantasy, Mystery, Thriller (I didn't know I liked thrillers, but SURRENDER YOUR SONS got me this year), Sci-fi, Romance, Historical, Horror (as long as it's not too grisly; think Hill House, not Halloween). Most especially from QBIPOC #MSWL

Jewish YA fantasy, from contemporary with “incidentally” Jewish characters to second-world fantasy with Judaism built into its bones. IN FACT, any ownvoices fantasy featuring or built around a minority religion (just, you know, be honest with yourself about what that means) #MSWL

I would truly love an SFF, YA or Adult, with queerness so baked into the world à la She-Ra that nobody even blinks. There’s danger and end-of-the-world stakes and messy relationships galore, but that particular threat is non-existant. This has been today’s #MSWL
