This year, I'm focusing on growing my #nonfiction list. I'd love to work on popular science, social science, and food books. Voicey writing. Think Mary Roach, Adam Grant. Climate, space, the ocean, biology. Mental health, personality science. Cookbooks! Chemistry of cooking #MSWL

I'm not open to queries until next year but while I'm thinking about it, I love books that deal with a future shaped by climate change. WANT by @cindypon and THE ONES WE'RE MEANT TO FIND by @joanhewrites are two of my favorites #mswl

Non-fiction wise, I love an in-depth examination of an issue that we're currently dealing with (EMPIRE OF PAIN is a perfect example). A fresh take on the climate crisis that I wish I had found myself is WARMTH.

Are there zombie apocalypse stories where people are generally kind, supportive, and collaborative with one another? It seems more realistic (and more enjoyable to read/watch).If you have building-utopia-in-apocalypse stories (although I'd prefer climate apocalypse to zombie), #MSWL.

Other
told someone this am that any literary near-future novel set in a climate change ravaged South gets immediate interest from me
