I told my dad about some of the YA projects I’m working on right now and he said, “They kinda all sound dark and sad.” Aaand he’s not wrong..? So this is a good time to remind the internet I am looking for a fun, upbeat Rom Com. Would especially love something high concept! #MSWL

I am absolutely delighted every May when I see artists post #mermay doodles and illustrations of mermaids. I am a next level mermaid lover—I've read academic papers on mermaid mythology and studied how it varies from country to country. So keep 'em coming! 🧜‍♀️✨
